Pts. Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 17, 2026
Pts. is a score keeping app for iPhone, made by Logan Jahnke ("I", "me"). This policy explains what happens to the information you put into the app.
The short version
Pts. doesn't collect, transmit, sell, or share any of your data. Everything you enter stays on your device. There are no accounts, ads, analytics, or tracking.
Information you enter
To keep score, you enter things like:
- Player names, colors, and icons
- Games and their rules
- Matches, teams, and scores
- App settings, such as theme and haptics
This information is stored only on your device, inside the app's storage. I never receive it, and the app doesn't send it to any server, including mine.
Information the app doesn't collect
Pts. doesn't:
- Require an account or sign-in
- Collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts
- Access your location, photos, camera, microphone, or health data
- Use analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking tools
- Include third-party SDKs that collect data
- Connect to the internet to store or process your data
Backups and device transfers
Because your data is stored like any other app data, it may be included in your device's iCloud or computer backups and in device-to-device transfers, depending on your settings. Apple handles those backups under Apple's Privacy Policy. I can't access them.
Exporting your data
You can export your match history as a CSV file from Settings. The file is created on your device and goes only where you send it with the share sheet, such as Files, Mail, or Messages. Once you share it, the app or service you chose handles it.
Sending feedback
If you choose Send feedback in Settings, your device's Mail app opens a draft to me. The draft includes the app version and iOS version so I can troubleshoot. Nothing is sent unless you send the email yourself. I use what you send only to reply and to improve the app, and I don't share it.
App Store
Apple may collect information about your download and use of the App Store under its own privacy policy. If you leave a rating or review, it's handled by Apple and is public.
Deleting your data
You can delete all games, matches, players, and settings at any time from Settings → Delete all data. Deleting the app also removes its data from your device. Data in existing device backups stays there until those backups are replaced or deleted.
Children
Pts. is suitable for all ages. Since the app collects no personal information, it collects none from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the effective date above. If the app ever starts collecting data, this policy will be updated before that happens.
